We try to make refunds the simplest part of the booking. Revolut handles the transfer and we do not play email tag.
Full refund, no questions
- We cancel for weather (see weather policy)
- We refuse the rental at the dock for safety reasons (you do not meet the age, weight, or licence requirements)
- You cancel more than 24 hours before the trip
Deposit forfeit
- You cancel within 24 hours of the trip
- You do not show up at the agreed meeting time
- You appear at the dock under the influence of alcohol or narcotics and we have to refuse the rental
How refunds reach you
Every refund goes back from our Revolut to the same account you paid from. We send the refund from Revolut in under 10 minutes. Depending on your bank or card provider, the funds may take 1 to 5 working days to appear on your statement. The refund confirmation email lands within 1 minute of us pressing the button.
The 200 EUR cash boat deposit
This is separate from the online deposit. It is collected at the dock when you pick up the boat and returned in cash when you return the boat undamaged and on time. If the boat comes back damaged, the cash deposit covers the first 200 EUR of repair. Anything beyond is invoiced separately.
